1. Is marrying a girl of another caste and giving up the principles of the four varnas favorable for a Vaisnava householder’s devotional service?

If a Vaisnava householder is an Aryan, or if he follows the principles of the four varnas, then his marriage should be arranged with a girl from the same caste. Even though the principles of varnasrama are temporary, they are nevertheless beneficial. It is not a fact that by rejecting the principles of the four varnas that one can become a Vaisnava. A Vaisnava should only do that which is favorable for his devotional service.
