In the spiritual world Krishna is never alone, and when we find a moment when He is without any of His associates it is understood that He is in company with His internal energies.
Since Krishna likes to be with His devotees, being alone is unnatural, we like to be with others. It’s our interna nature. Even the devotees in the spiritual world are never alone and when they are, they are in contact with Krishna and others through meditation.
In the material world it’s different. The deluded souls have zero capacity of meditating and find internal association with Krishna and His loving devotees. Therefore they look for company with materialistic people. Due to past karma, one may be more popular than others. Certainly if someone has a bad character, gets angry for no real reason, offensive, envious, unpleasant and so forth, obviously nobody wants to be with him. In this case he can’t blame nothing and nobody but himself. He has to endevour to change his attitude and people will want to associate with him.
However while it’s possible to succeed to change his way to relate with people, it’s more difficult to change the karma and after some time he may fall again to repelling people away from him.
Therefore he will have to work in changing his karma by spiritual activities, like chanting, studying philosophy etcetera.
When he becomes tired of useless and boring association with materialistic people, who only do and speak about nonsense, he can become qualified with association with spiritual nature, where he will find real happiness.
It take time and discipline but it’s possibile.
