Om apavitra-pavitro-va sarva-vastam
gato api va yah smaret pundarikaksham
sah bhayabhyantara suchih.

One maybe pure or impure, if he remembers Sri Krishna that wouldn’t matter anymore. Simply by remembering Him by chanting His Holy Name we became immediately purified. This harinama-sankirtana is such a nice process. It is simple and sublime. By chanting Hare Krishna we are protected, at every step of life. If chanted purely there is no danger of being contaminated by Maya.
om apavitrah pavitro vā
sarvāvasthāṁ gato api vā

sa bahya abhyantaraṁ śuciḥ

Both pure and impure, passing through the conditions of material life, if remember the lotus-eyed Lord, then one becomes externally and internally clean.
