Srila Haridas Thakura is Prahlada Maharaja or Lord Brahma?
In Bhaktivinoda Thakuras Harinama cintamani you read he writes Srila Haridas Thakura is Lord Brahma ,In Gaura Ganodessa Dipika is is stated that Prahlada Maharaja became Haridas Thakura and Lord Brahma became Gopinath Acarya (he advised Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya as you might recall from CC about Lord Caitanyas position ) in Advaita Prakash written by Isana Thakura the servant of Sri Advaita Acarya, Srila Haridas Thakura as described as the combined incarnation of Lord Brahma and Prahlada Maharaja .Just like Prahlada Maharaja was tortured the Muslims did everything to destroy Srila Haridas Thakura even whipping him over 21 market places.They could not kill him.He chanted 192 rounds daily and so did Lord Caitanya as is expalined in 17chapter of Prema Vilasa .We remember Srila Haridas Thakura with much love to me he is Prahlada Maharaja in Gaura lila and that is of course confirmed by Srila Kavi Karnapure in Gaura Ganodessa Dipika ! Gaura Ganodessa Dipika : 93. Lord Chaitanya Himself did not accept that Ramachandra Puri was the incarnation of Vibhishana, but the Lord himself said that Ramachandra Puri was the empowered incarnation of Shrimati Radharani’s mother-in-law Jatila. This Ramachandra Puri restricted Lord Chaitanya in His acceptance of alms. Rchika Muni’s son Brahma Mahatapah, and Prahlada Maharaja combined to appear as Haridasa Thakur in Lord Chaitanya’s pastimes.
So the Brahma that Srila Kavikarnapure talks about is the son of the sage Rchika Muni his name was Brahma Mahatapah in honor of Lord Brahma but not Lord Brahma himself mentioned in the next sloka : 94/95. In the book Chaitanya-charita, Murari Gupta explains that one morning Mahatapah gave an unwashed tulasi leaf to his father, who became so angry at him for this that he cursed him. Because of this Mahatapah took birth in a yavana family as the great Devotee Haridasa Thakura.
