Bhima is considered physically stongest warrior of the Mahabharata. He had approximately power of 10,000 elephant. He was naturally strong since his birth due to boon of the deity vayu. Once , he was fallen down on stone from mother kunti’s hand but he saved and stone had been cracked.

How did Bhima get 10,000 elephants power ?

According to Mahabharata adi parva ch 122, After pandu death, his wife kunti went to Hastinapur with her all son where kauravas and Pandavas had to started live together. Kaurvas specially Duryodhana was very envy seeing the strength of Bhima. Kaurvas was more in number but less in power. Duryodhana made plan to kill Bhima so he mixed kaal kuth poison in the food and gave to Bhima. When Bhima had eaten the food and get unconscious then Duryodhana push bhima into ganga river.

Bhima started going on the deep of river where naagraj Aryaka snake lived. Aryaka was the maternal grandfather of kunti’s father sursen. Snakes had saved Bhima by bite and also gave a special liquid to drink which contained powers equal to 10000 elephants.

No one have physical strength like Bhima in kurukshetra war that’s why Bhima is considered to be strongest warrior.
