There are no Strict Rules regarding the Chanting of the Holy Names

posted in: English, Kadacha ENG 0

The Vaisvanara Samhita confirms that there are no strict rules regarding the time or purity for chanting the holy names:

na desa-kala-niyamo

na saucasuaca-nirnayah

param sankirtanad eva

rama rameti mucyate

There are no restrictions regarding place or time, neither purity or impurity is taken into consideration; through the simple performance of sankirtana – chanting Rama Rama, or the mantra Hare Krishna – one can attain the highest liberation.
