Bhajana in the morning
Sadhu-sange anartha-nivrtti
(Removal of the Anarthas through the association of devotees)
There are no good or bad times to chant the holy names. As explained in the Siksastaka (2), the holy names are invested with all powers:
namnam akari bahudha nija-sarva-saktis
tatrarpita niyamitah smarane na kalah
etadrsi tava krpa bhagavan mamapi
durdaivam idrsam ihajani nanuragah
My lord, O Supreme Person, Your holy name can bestow all blessings on living beings, therefore You have hundreds and thousands of names, such as Krishna or Govinda, into which You expand. In these transcendental names You have invested all your transcendental powers. There are no strict rules for chanting these names. O Lord, in Your infinite mercy You allow us to easily approach You with the chanting of Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no attraction for them.
