“Know that Lord Krishna sees everything. He is with us at every moment. He is within our hearts as the Supersoul. He is within every atom and in the space between the atoms. He is everywhere. So we are never alone. And if we surrender to Him, we have His merciful protection wherever we are.
“We have to have that faith. Otherwise there will be a disconnect between our practical lives and Krishna’s lila. We think Krishna’s pastimes are very nice stories. We get the children’s versions and read them to our little ones, and it is all very sweet. But in our practical lives we may not actually have faith that Krishna is with us, that He will protect us, that He will maintain us. We are worried — Who will protect me? Who will maintain me? — because we are not fully cognizant of Krishna’s opulences. We are not conscious that Krishna is everywhere, all-pervading, all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful, and above all, that He is our best, well-wishing friend.”
