O Visnu, your name, om, manifested by itself, is the form of eternal knowledge. Although my knowledge of the glories of chanting this name is incomplete, through the practice of chanting this name I will attain perfect knowledge.
One who possesses unmanifested powers and is completely independent reveals the omkara vibration which designates Himself. Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan are the three forms that He manifests.,,,
The three letters that make up the omkara – a, u, m – specifically represent the three names Hari, Krishna and Rama respectively. The name Hari is no different from Hari the person. His eternal form, svarupa, is known as vacya, and the transcendental name of Hari is known as vacaka. These two forms, vacya and vacaka, fulfill all kinds of wishes.
