The mood of one who is totally in love with Krishna

This couplet of this song of Bhaktivinoda is extraordinary:

mārobi rākhobi-jo icchā tohārā
nitya-dāsa prati tuwā adhikārā

The mood of one who is totally in love with Krishna is that such love is not dependent on being rescued or not. One of the six items of surrender is faith in the Lord’s protection. But that item can also be understood as accepting the Lord as protector as the Lord wants. If Krishna wants to rescue His servant, the servant accepts, and if Krishna apparently leaves His servant to die or suffer, the servant also accepts.
