For Their Pleasure, by Radha Kunda dasa – … The rest

The goal is real

One thing to bear in mind is that Rasikarani Rasikaraja are living, real personalities. They are not some intellectual agreement, They are the Supreme Personalities Of Goloka Nikunja! They are the true Relishers of everything. Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita that as you surrender unto Them They will award accordingly. So as you try to please Them, They will please You! It’s alright for you to feel ecstatic You are Sat cit Ananda, Blissfullness reciprocated with your Best Friends!

This is the most important part of the whole Sadhana. Its imperative, compulsory, no choice, It has to be done, To read everyday something about nama, rupa, guna and lila. It’s also more mandatory to tell something to someone about Nayika Nayaka (Heroine / Hero) everyday. And as you remember what you are sharing, you should be aware that They appreciate Their devotees glorifying Them!

Your day is coming to a close and you prepare for the evening program. Singing in the shower is a great policy. Of course you most likely won’t have to note this down as you will be feeling a sense of satisfaction and bliss in this real relationship that is developing in your heart!

Sandhya Arati represents that Nanda Baba has arranged some entertainment for his son. Either a puppet show. or a juggling act, or a maybe a magic show, or a comedy routine, etc. So you join the other devotees in a bliss full Kirtan with ecstatic dancing and singing. You are Radha Radha kanta’s evening entertainment, so cook it up For Their Pleasure!

After Arati, it’s the Bhagavad gita class, then some time is there before the hot milk. Sit with your Rasika associates and read the Krishna Book with the thoughts of serenading the Divine Couple, then take your hot milk and prepare for rest.

In the old days, we read from five books a day. First the Bhagavatam class, then before lunch there was the Nectar Of Devotion for fifteen to twenty minutes. Then between lunch and Sandhya Arati, was The Teachings Of Lord Caitanya, then Bhagavad Gita Class, then Krishna Book. This was a good system as you can get a well rounded education of Prabhupada’s books.

Writing is remembering

It is also strongly recommended that you write. Writing is remembering, Srila Prabhupada use to say. Keep in a diary, you now write how your day was and how much was truly Krishna conscious. You pray to your Sweethearts of your heart how much you have remembered Them today, that you will remember Them one minute more (or more) tomorrow.

Now this world is losing its glitter by dint of a higher taste. When that higher taste is condensed it then becomes Ruci, taste. That Ruci becomes still more condenced and evolves into Asakti, deep attachment. Now back at Nistha the ecstatic symptoms begin to appear, like tears, horripulations, and more. The more you read, the more you tell others, the more you will remember and the ecstacy and yearning to engage in their Nitya lila, Eternal devotional service now becomes more prominent in your prayers. And remembering will start giving what is called Uddipans, or reminders. Example, when you are reading about how Sri Radhika with Her vine-like arms wrap around the Tamal tree-like Madhava, You may see in this world a creeper wrapping around a tree and this will remind you of those Divine pastimes of Gokula!

Eventually you will experience this material world changing into the Spiritual world due to these Uddipanas. Naturally as you concentrate on your prayers to want to please Nagari Nagara (Paramours), Being concerned not to want for your self, Vrajesvari Vrajesvara will become attracted to your Bhajana and They will bless you with Their mercy.

It is said in the Rasa Sastras, between Asakti and Bhava, one then receives their Siddha-deha, their spiritual form. This can come from within the heart,or from someone that Krishna will send to you giving the 11 Dashas;

1) Sambandha, relationship
2) Vayasa, age
3) Nama, name
4) Rupa, form and beauty
5) Yuthi, group
6) Vesa, dress
7) Ajna, specific instruction
8) Vasa, residence
9) Seva, exclusive service
10) Parakastha-svasa, the highest summit of emotion, which is the aspirants life breath
11) Palya-dasi-bhava, the sentimentof a manjari under the protection of Sri Radhika.

Now you enter into Nitya Seva, in you Nitya Siddha, in the Nitya Lila, serving your guru in her Manjari rupa serving the Manjari group under Rupa Manjari, serving under Lalita Devi, Serving your Swamini in service to that Black Unreliable!!!!!

A very confidential relationship

It says in the Uddhava Sandesa, by Srila Rupa Goswami, that when one reaches Prema, There are eight types of Darsanas.

The first one is that all the senses become eyes, the touch, the hearing, the voice, the smell, all become the sense of sight. Krishna now appears before you. Reminding you that you have been experiencing the Sattvika Bhavas gradually and steadily from the Nistha stage.

The Sattvika Bhavas are horripulations, changing color, trembling, hair standing on end, being stunned, choked voice, tears in the eyes, etc. They have been encreasing with more occurances and intensity, so your body has been almost at the point of convulsions in ecstatic rapture.

Can you imagine what you will experience when you actually see the goal, the love of your life, the object of your intense meditation, Your Beloveds!?
The ecstacy is simply too much, and you collapse to the point of death. Then our Priyatam gives His Audarya Bhava, His compassion and brings you back to life, (so to speak) and stands you back up to receive the next Darsan.

Next your senses now become the sense of smell and you smell the aroma that the Vrajabasis of Goloka smell, which is the fragrance of a blue lotus flower mixed with musk. Krishna’s body has different smells on different parts of His Beautiful body.

“The fragrance of armpits, eyebrows, hips, and hair defeat the the smell of Parijata and lotus flowers smeared with aguru. His nose, navel, mouth, hands feet and eyes smell of a lotus smeared with camphor. Thus the whole world is inundated by the waves of His nectarean fragrance!”
(Govinda Lilamrta 17.9)

“Sri Radhika’s whole body smells like Kumkum. Her navel, eyebrows, eyes, all smell like that of blue lotus smeared with Musk and Aguru. Her chest, ears, nose, hands and feet smells of lotus smeared with camphor. And her armpits, and Her nails smell like that of the fragrance of Ketaki flower sprinkled with candan”
(Govinda Lilamrta11.117)

Just as with the darsan of the sight, this darsan drops you and you almost leave your body, but again The sweet Enchanter of Vraja gives His Audarya Bhava and He stands you back on your feet to experience the third darsan.

This time all your senses now become’s the sense of hearing. And you hear Krishna’s beautiful deep voice and like the rest, you fall unconscious as you hit the ground. As before, He gets you to your feet with His merciful Audarya bhava and now experience your whole body becoming the sense of touch. According to the rasa you are in, the way Krishna touches you. If you are in Dasya Rasa, then Radha-priya places His lotus foot on top of your head. If you are in Sakhya Rasa, Then He entwines His fingers with yours. If you are in Vatsalya Rasa, He then wipes the tears from your love-filled eyes. And if you have cultivated Madhurya Rasa, then Madhu-pati (Lord of sweetness) embraces you chest to chest.

After He has brought you back to conciousness again with His miraculous Audarya Bhava, you can experience 4 more Darsanas, but only if you are in Madhurya Rasa.

The fifth darsan is that He kisses you and slips His Tambula (or paan) into your mouth. The next Darsan is that He takes you into the bushes for an intimate interlude!

After which you hear His sweet voice again wherein He acknowledges all that you have endured in coming to His lotus feet. Of course this is almost unbearable since whatever austerities and hardships you may gone through now seems totally insignificant.

Then the last and what seems to be the most intolerable, is now He disappears from your sight and as in the song sung by Srila Rupa Goswami, your life is now bereft as you sing,
”He Radhe Vraja Devike ca Lalite He Nanda suno Kutaha?”
O Sri Radhe! O Sri Syama! Where have You gone? Are You on Govadhana Hill? Are you on the banks of the Yamuna? Where are You?
Nikunja me virajo Ghanasyama Radhe Radhe!

I will admit that these last stages have not yet been experienced. I have given the beginning to the final end of our adventure according to the statements in the Sastras. The practical stages have been revealed and is being practiced as we speak. The experiences have brought incredible revelation and the Divine Couple have revealed this booklet in order so that some of you will be inspired to get out of the mud of doubt and despair.

I know that this is only for those who are tired of fighting with senses, the failure future syndrome and maybe some melancholy due to the long arduous haul that we have endured and to fill you with faith and hope. If anyone out there may know the author and his past, you will know clearly that if he can do it, any one can do it. It simply requires a sincere decision and a stick-to-it driving force of determination.

Sva-nistha bhakta-nistha

Do you know why when Mother Yasoda was trying to tie up that Makhan Chore that she kept ending up being two fingers too short? It’s because the two fingers represented a certain specific siddhanta. One finger represented Sva-nistha and the other represented Bhakta-nistha.

Sva-nistha is Krishna’s determination and bhakta-nistha is the devotee’s determination. When ever there is any competition with Krishna and His devotee, Krishna always relents to His devotees.

Yasoda Maiya said,
“I am going to tie You up!”
Krishna would then say,
”O no you’re not!”
“O yes I am!”
“O no you are not!”
“O yes I am!”

And when Krishna sees you are so determined (Bhakta-nistha) after his resistance (Sva-nistha), then He will surrender to the determination of the devotee’s desire to come to His lotus feet. For it is said by all the Acaryas, that the only requirement to enter into the pure devotional service of Nikunja is Laulyam, greed, greed and more burning yearning greed. When Their pleasure means more to you then your own breath! It won’t be so strong at first, but as they say it’s a gradual process, just like a crawling infant. One day he will be running. So,
“Come on baby! Keep coming! Come on baby! We are waiting for you!”
Srila Prabhupada has given the invitation. The Parampara has paved the way. It’s what we need to do They are waiting for us! And its what we have been looking for forever in all the ways we have tried to be happy and tried to love.

So I hope that some of you will pray for Their mercy and succeed in the goal of life. It’s why you were born! So now you can please the divine Couple and serve Them In the Eternal World For Their Pleasure!

In conclusion

In conclusion, a brief re-cap and additional suggestions to embellish this wonderful adventure Home.

First. To make a firm decision with prayer and humble surrender asking, nay, begging with all your heart to thoroughly and perpetually from now on to stay on purpose in reaching the goal

Second. That the prayers are to increase and are honest and sincere with no self concern

Third. To adjust the priorities of what’s important and to keep the Prayojana at the front of the mind, on a daily basis.

Fourth. To be aware of those things that take you away from this single-pointed drive to please Sri Radha Krishna Yugala, like an artificial humility whereby self condemnation becomes the flip-side of self angrandizement. Being aware when you are not on purpose.

A very, very good way to stay protected, is to say something to all those that you have eye contact with. From a simple
‘Hare Krishna”,
or,
“Krishna is blue like a blue sapphire”,
or,
“Krishna lifted Govardhana Hill”,
etc, etc, etc, to a more elaborate story, depending on time, place and circumstances.

Fifth. To reveal all your dirty laundry verbally in private to Thakurji, No hiding any thing. This may take some time, as you may have put those really horrible things into the deep recesses of your brain and it will take some digging to root them out. This will not be much fun as you may recall the pain that went with the experience.

Sixth. Make a concentrated effort not to look at the opposite sex or that form which will test Maya. The newspapers, the old buddies who lure you into talks of the mundane experiences of the past; remembering “The Good Ol’ Days”.

This is what keeps us from advancing at all. Remember, these bodies are a source of bewilderment, pain embarrassment, misery, deceit and disappointment. That girl (boy, if that’s the case), is a closed gate for entering into a Transcendental relationship with your journey’s end. When you see a pretty bag of stool, you should know that the prettier the face, the uglier the heart. Besides, you won’t get that person any way and it will agitate your calming peaceful mind, which has taken a lot of effort to attain. Once Sri Sri Hara Hari begin to take away the dirty things of the heart, including this mundane sex desire, you will be experiencing a developing higher taste, or at least a great hope for that taste in the future, so you have to stay on purpose at all costs!

I hope this humble and sincere attempt to help those who really want to finalize this Samsara world of avoidance and excuses and who want to meet their best Friends will benefit from this work of love and devotion delivered with care and compassion.

I know there is alot of faults to be found in this fool. And those who are fond of faultfinding can have a festival with this faulty insignificant disciple of Srila Prabhupada. My only quality that can be found is that I’ve taken the mercy of Patita Pavana Gurudeva and the Rasika Manjari Guru line. Patita Pavan Sri Sri Gaura Nitai who came to pick up most fallen first. Patita Pavan Sri Vrinda Devi and Patita Pavana Priyaji and Her Priyatam!

One thing that’s vital to remember, is that the only sure thing in this world is our death. It’s not about having a nice life; it’s having a nice death!

Following in the footsteps of my beloved Guru Maharaja, may you have a great adventure Back to Home, back to Goloka Nikunja!

Nikunja me viraje Ghanasyama Radhe Radhe!

Your ever Well-wisher!
