My health has deteriorated since I came in South America. I have been suffering of all kind of allergies, apart from my usual “historic” disturbances like backbone, stomach etc.
In Vrindavana I was much healthier. I was walking a lot, almost everyday doing parikrama, chanting lots of rounds.
Although I am not an old man (only 51) I feel my body much older. I am seeing I cannot do much of the things I used to do even few years ago.
Preaching, running around, organizing, going in harinam, tolerating anxieties.
Now I get rapidly tired. Maybe it’s just a question of lifestyle. Changing so many countries and places it’s not advisable for a regulated life.
Here in San Jose’ in this season rains a lot, but –untill now– only in the afternoon. The rain is very regulated… 1 o’clok PM, it rains. Every day. They say it’s because of the ninos. The nino and the nina. Mah…
So in the morning I enjoy chanting my rounds under the warm rising sun. I think to Vrindavana. There was a lot of association with godbrothers there. Here I am mostly alone, I mean only associating with younger devotees. Giving without receiving association. Not easy. Surely not pleasing.
Sometimes I speak with Godbrothers through Skype, blessed be Internet.
Time for breakfast, I hear Isvari chiming the bell.
