Which war was more destructive, the Ramayana War or the Mahabharata War?

Ramayana

Meghanāda killed sixty-seven crores (670,000,000) of Vānaras with his Brahmāstra which is almost 160 times more than the entire army of Kauravās and Pāṇḍavas combined. This was the damage done by Meghanāda alone. Rāvaṇa destroyed troops more than Meghanāda. Rāvaṇa reduced hundreds of contingents of Vānara army which went up to billions with his mere Tāmasāstra

Meghanāda’s destruction due to his Brahmāstra:

Sixty seven crores of powerful monkeys were struck down by the cherished missile of Brahma, the self-born creator, in the fifth and last period of the day.

~ Valmīkī Rāmāyaṇa, Yuddha Kaṇḍa, Sarga 74, Śloka 12.
Reference for Rāvaṇa’s destruction from his Tāmasāstra.

Seeing those hundreds of many of his armies shattered by excellent arrows of Ravana, Rama took his stand, ready for the battle.

~ Valmīkī Rāmāyaṇa, Yuddha Kaṇḍa, Sarga ,99, Śloka 10.
For the numbering of each division, refer Sarga 27 and 28 of Yuddha Kaṇḍa.

The total death of soldiers of Mahābhārata is just 3,936,600. The difference in casualty between the two war is huge. And that too a single person was not responsible for the end of so many lives unlike Meghanāda or Rāvaṇa. The destruction and gore in Rāmāyaṇa was more profound compared to that of Mahābhārata. The battle between the Rākṣasās and Vānaras make the Mahābhārata war look like nothing. That is because in Rāmāyaṇa the warriors were very powerful and skilful.
