**BREAKING NEWS, Oct. 1944, 77 yrs ago, Back to Godhead was Denied permission to become a monthly magazine by the Gov’t of India, due to ”scarcity” of paper. But after two unsuccessful pior attempts to reverse this decision, Srila Prabhupada succeeds on the third attempt. This is due to Srila Prabhupadas uncompromising preaching abilities and determination to fulfill His Guru Maharaj’s order. Please read this incredible and amazing letter exchange between Srila Prabhupada and the Gov’t of India. This early determined effort later paved the way for Srila Prabhupada to go USA at the age of 70 to successfully preach and then at the age of 74 return to India and established His temples here.
