So Mah\u0101r\u0101ja Ik\u1e63v\u0101ku, the first king of the dynasty in which Lord R\u0101macandra took birth, very pious family. So Ik\u1e63v\u0101ku Mah\u0101r\u0101ja. The worship of Lord R\u0101macandra began from Mah\u0101r\u0101ja Ik\u1e63v\u0101ku. Mah\u0101r\u0101ja Ik\u1e63v\u0101ku used to worship the Deity of R\u0101macandra, R\u0101ma-S\u012bt\u0101. Therefore in their family Lord R\u0101macandra appeared. That Deity is still existing in some part of South India. The Deity was being worshiped in the family since Mah\u0101r\u0101ja Ik\u1e63v\u0101ku, and during when Lord R\u0101macandra was personally present, this Deity was kept in His bedroom. So one br\u0101hma\u1e47a, he used to come and see Lord R\u0101macandra. Then he would take his…, break his fasting, breakfast. That was his principle, regulative principle.<\/span><\/p>\n

So Lord R\u0101macandra was absent for a week or so from the kingdom, and the br\u0101hma\u1e47a did not take even a little water, because he could not see Lord R\u0101macandra. Such a devotee. So Lak\u1e63ma\u1e47a informed King R\u0101macandra that<\/span>
\n“Here is a devotee, br\u0101hma\u1e47a. You were absent from the kingdom for one week, so he did not take even a drop of water.”<\/span>
\nSo Lord R\u0101macandra was very much pleased. Then He ordered Lak\u1e63ma\u1e47a that<\/span>
\n“You give him that Deity which was being worshiped in our family, now it is stopped.”<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a>So He delivered that Deity R\u0101macandra to the br\u0101hma\u1e47a, that<\/span>
\n“When Lord R\u0101macandra is absent from the kingdom, you can worship.”<\/span>
