bhayam dvitiyabhinivesatah syad<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

isad apetasya viparyayo ‘smrtih<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

tan-mayayato budha abhajet tam<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

bhaktyaikayesam guru-devatatma<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the living entity is attracted to material energy, which is separated from Krishna, it is overcome by fear. Material energy separates one from the Supreme Personality of God, and one\u2019s conception of existence is reversed. In other words, instead of being Krishna’s eternal servant, he is competing with Him. This is called viparyayah asmrtih. To undo this mistake, those who are truly educated and advanced worship the Supreme Personality of God as the spiritual master, divinity and source of life. He worships the Lord, therefore, by the method of pure devotional service.<\/span><\/p>\n
