He takes away ignorance and the activities that concern it, so devotees remember Him as Hari. Sri Radha, who is the Lord&#8217;s internal power of happiness, captures Krishna&#8217;s mind. She is therefore glorified as Hara. The vocative form of Hara is Hare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Sri Krishna is the eternal beloved of Radha, who is happiness personified. The beautiful dark son of Nanda, who has eyes like lotus petals, is the only source of happiness for the residents of Gokula. He is therefore known as Krishna.
