Meditation at the raganuga stage is not in the injunctions of the Sastras.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Smarana resulting from attraction to madhurya-rasa quickly leads to attaining the state of bhavapana<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc150422342\"><\/a><a name=\"_Toc159506459\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The gradual progress of the devotee following the path of Vaidha<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Vaidha-bhaktera unnati-krame<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">At the time of smarana, the devotee following the path of vaidha always considers what is favorable according to the injunctions of Sastra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">On attaining bhava, the moment it appears, the devotee abandons the injunctions of Sastra, knowing that they are a disturbance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">One gradually progresses from sraddha, nistha, ruci, and asakti, up to bhava.
