Your feet guarantee fearlessness. Only with Your feet can one cross the ocean of birth and death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Materially minded people have created many ways to reach Your feet, but they are all mundane.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Domestic fire sacrifices<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>, public welfare activities<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>, long-term fire sacrifices<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>, pious activities, bathing in holy rivers, one-day fire sacrifices<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>, charitable giving, yoga, varnasrama-dharma, going on pilgrimage to holy places, observing vows, worshiping the Pitris, meditating, gathering knowledge, activities related to the Devas, performing austerities, atonement etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">They take shelter of all these material things and try to attain the nature of their goal by performing virtuous activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Eventually, by following these processes, they reach their goal. But by rejecting other methods, they reach perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Please hear the goal of the Jiva, O Supreme Personality of Godhead, who bestows complete bliss and all perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc150422251\"><\/a><a name=\"_Toc159506368\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Attaining the highest result through virtuous actions<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Subha-karma upaya<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Material objects and situations are not filled with bliss. They are all part of a trick for the Jiva to achieve perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Therefore, all virtuous activities are a way to achieve the goal.
