These two types create sraddhabhasa<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>. These are all products of Your power of illusion, Maya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Chaya-sraddhabhasa<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a> produces chaya-namabhasa<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>. This namabhasa creates auspiciousness for the Jiva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159506227\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">A reflected glimmer of the Holy Name<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Pratibimba namabhasa<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">One who sees pure sraddha in other Jivas can attain sraddhabhasa within himself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">They may still desire bhoga<a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a> or moksa<a href=\"#_ftn8\" name=\"_ftnref8\">[8]<\/a> and struggle day and night to obtain them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">External symptoms of sraddha may also be visible, but it is not a true sraddha. The Sastras say that this is pratibimba-sraddhabhasa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Wherever there is pratibimba-sraddhabhasa, there will always be pratibimba-namabhasa.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159506228\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The deception of Mayavada arises from Pratibimba Namabhasa<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Pratibimba-namabhase mayavada kapatata utpanna kare<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">This kind of namabhasa leads to the wicked philosophy of mayavada by entering into which one becomes a cheater.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159506229\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">This deceptive Pratibimba Namabhasa is actually Namaparadha<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Kapata pratibimba-namabhasa namaparadha<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Anyone who thinks that the Holy Name is merely an instrument to achieve a higher eternal goal dishonors the glories of the Holy Name and this offense destroys him<a href=\"#_ftn9\" name=\"_ftnref9\">[9]<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159506230\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The difference between Chaya Namabhasa and Pratibimba Namabhasa<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Chaya namabhasa o pratibimba-namabhasera bheda<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Chaya-namabhasa comes only from ignorance, due to a state of hrdaya-daurbalya<a href=\"#_ftn10\" name=\"_ftnref10\">[10]<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The Holy Name purifies all these defects.
