Krishna Himself and His Name are one in tattva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Srinama<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a> is the form of pure consciousness. Its nature is that it is always transcendental. The Name and the Named are not different, and it is always transcendentally pure<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Although the Holy Name descends into this mundane world in the form of syllables, it remains pure and is the true substance of rasa<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>, which is tasted by rasikas<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Krishna-vastu<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a> is understood through His four natural attributes: namely, His nama, rupa, guna and karma<a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a> which are all conceived as beginningless.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159506185\"><\/a><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The Holy Name is eternally perfect<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Nama nitya-siddha<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Krishna is the eternal principle and the very form of rasa and consequently is free from material dualities. These four attributes by which He is known are all perfect.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">These four attributes appear through His sandhini sakti<a href=\"#_ftn8\" name=\"_ftnref8\">[8]<\/a>. They are renowned as eternally perfect and always fully spiritual.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Krishna attracts everyone in the universe. The opulence of Krishna-nama is that it also has the same eternal quality<a href=\"#_ftn9\" name=\"_ftnref9\">[9]<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> The word cintamani is translated as touchstone, the magic stone that simply touching it satisfies any desire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref2\" name=\"_ftn2\">[2]<\/a> The Holy Name.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref3\" name=\"_ftn3\">[3]<\/a> Nama cintamanih krsnas caitanya-rasa-vigrahah \/ purnah suddho nitya-mukto &#8216;bhinnatvan nama-naminoh <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The Holy Name of Krishna is transcendentally full of bliss. He bestows all spiritual blessings because He is Krishna Himself, the place where all pleasure is found. Krishna&#8217;s Name is complete and is the form of all transcendental sweetness. It is never a material Name, and it is no less powerful than Krishna Himself. Since Krishna&#8217;s Name is not contaminated by material qualities, there is no possibility of it becoming involved with maya. The Name of Krishna is always beyond matter and is spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature. This is because Krishna&#8217;s Name and Krishna Himself are identical. &#8211; Padma Purana<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref4\" name=\"_ftn4\">[4]<\/a> Rasa is another of those words that needs many and varied explanations.
