Brahmin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Radharani, Jatila and Kutila had arrived and where looking for Brahmins for the surya puja.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No sooner than she said it, did the 2 brahmins arrive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jatila asked<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cwhat are you doing here?\u00a0 And who is this dark skinned Brahmin?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna replied<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI am a very pakka Brahmin from the Surya dynasty\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna recites strange mantras<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He started to chant mantras \u2013 not normal mantras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was actually speaking to Radharani in cryptic terms saying<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI would like to meet you.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please grant me the benediction of your side-long glances\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was speaking intimate words to her but he presented it in such a way it can mean something else.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Jatila suspicions<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jatila was listening and asked what those mantras were.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She never heard it before.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madhu Mangal said haughtily:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cwhat do you know of our vedic mantras?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All you know is village songs of the cowherd ladies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are very traditional mantras!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the puja was over they had to pay dakshina.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jatila asked<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201chow much?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madhu Mangal said<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c10,000 ladoos\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jatila said<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI did not carry so many\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madhu Mangala:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cno problem, I will come to your house\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jatila:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cwhat about my daughter-in-law?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madhu Mangal:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMy friend will look after her \u2013 he is from the Surya dynasty\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Jatila and Madhumangala go to Javat<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jatila went with Madhu Mangal to Yavat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna and Radharani were left alone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Mukhara<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As they began to associate, along came Mukhara, the grandmother of Srimati Radharani.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYou rascal, what are you doing with my grand daughter?\u201d,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and she ran at him with her stick.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Mukhara rans after Krishna and Sankhacuda<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna ran into the bushes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mukhara followed him waving her stick.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Little did she know that hiding in this forest was Shankacuda \u2013 a big demon and is described in the 10th canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This demon has a big jewel fixed on his head.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mukhara is half blind and is running looking for Krishna shouting \u201cwhere are you?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She saw someone and thought it was Krishna.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She couldn\u2019t really tell and she said<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYou rascal, I caught you!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shankacuda thought:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cwho is this fearless old woman,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and he ran with Mukhara chasing him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Radha kidnapped<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He came running where Radharani was and he kidnapped her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mukhara saw the fangs and the big sharp teeth and realised it is a demon and not Krishna who has kidnapped Radharani.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna came.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mukhara begged him to rescue her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna put on a big show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He rolled up his sleeves, he tightened his belt and he shouted out to the demon<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHow will I torture you?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I want to torture you forever, you offender of Radharani, but how will I do that if you simply die?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madhu Mangal was impressed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Krishna kills the demon<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He thought he was so brave.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krishna gave him one blow and he killed the demon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He took the jewel and he gave it to Balarama and asked him to give it to one of the gopis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He gave it to Radharani.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the main pastime at Surya
