Answer<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe verse to which you refer is found in Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.2.6 and is one of the most important of the entire Bhagavatam. It says this:<\/span><\/p>\n

sa vai pu\u1e41s\u0101\u1e41 paro dharmo<\/span>
\nyato bhaktir adhok\u1e63aje<\/span>
\nahaituky apratihat\u0101<\/span>
\nyay\u0101tm\u0101 supras\u012bdati<\/span>
\n\u201cThe supreme occupation [dharma] for all humanity is that by which men can attain to loving devotional service unto the transcendent Lord. Such devotional service must be unmotivated and uninterrupted to completely satisfy the self.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I could elaborate a lot on this but for a basic understanding it seems to me that the verse is self explanatory.<\/span><\/p>\n
