This was described personally by Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a unto Brahm\u0101, with whom the Lord was satisfied upon being properly worshiped.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wrapper-puport\">\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">Purport<\/h2>\n<div class=\"rich-text\">\n<div id=\"bb18177\" class=\"r r-lang-en r-paragraph\">\n<p>The two different ways of reaching the spiritual sky and thereby getting emancipation from all material bondage, namely either the direct process of reaching the kingdom of God or the gradual process through the other higher planets of the universe, are set forth exactly according to the version of the <i>Vedas.<\/i> The Vedic versions in this connection are, <i>yad\u0101 sarve pramucyante k\u0101m\u0101 ye\u00a0\u2019sya h\u1e5bdi \u015brit\u0101\u1e25\/ atha martyo\u00a0\u2019m\u1e5bto bhavaty atra brahma sama\u015bnute<\/i> (<i>B\u1e5bhad-\u0101ra\u1e47yaka Upani\u1e63ad<\/i> 4.4.7) and <i>te\u00a0\u2019rcir abhisambhavanti<\/i> (<i>B\u1e5bhad-\u0101ra\u1e47yaka Upani\u1e63ad<\/i> 6.2.15): \u201cThose who are free from all material desires, which are diseases of the heart, are able to conquer death and enter the kingdom of God through the Arci planets.\u201d These Vedic versions corroborate the version of the <i><a href=\"https:\/\/vedabase.io\/en\/library\/sb\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u015ar\u012bmad-Bh\u0101gavatam<\/a>,<\/i> and the latter is further confirmed by \u015aukadeva Gosv\u0101m\u012b, who affirms that the truth was disclosed by the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord \u015ar\u012b K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, V\u0101sudeva, to Brahm\u0101, the first authority on the <i>Vedas.<\/i> The disciplic succession holds that the <i>Vedas<\/i> were uttered by Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a to Brahm\u0101, by Brahm\u0101 to N\u0101rada, and by N\u0101rada to Vy\u0101sadeva, and then by Vy\u0101sadeva to \u015aukadeva Gosv\u0101m\u012b and so on. So there is no difference between the versions of all the authorities. The truth is eternal, and as such there cannot be any new opinion about the truth. That is the way of knowing the knowledge contained in the <i>Vedas.<\/i> It is not a thing to be understood by one\u2019s erudite scholarship or by the fashionable interpretations of mundane scholars. There is nothing to be added and nothing to be subtracted, because the truth is the truth. One has to accept, after all, <i>some<\/i> authority. The modern scientists are also authorities for the common man for some scientific truths. The common man follows the version of the scientist. This means that the common man follows the authority. The Vedic knowledge is also received in that way. The common man cannot argue about what is beyond the sky or beyond the universe; he must accept the versions of the <i>Vedas<\/i> as they are understood by the authorized disciplic succession. In the <i><a href=\"https:\/\/vedabase.io\/en\/library\/bg\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101<\/a><\/i> also the same process of understanding the <i>G\u012bt\u0101<\/i> is stated in the Fourth Chapter.
