In 1974 the BBT published an extensively revised editing with Sanskrit diacritical marks and selected verses from <i>\u015ar\u012b Caitanya-carit\u0101m\u1e5bta,<\/i> the source book for <i>Teachings of Lord Caitanya.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"rich-text\">\n<div id=\"bb6174\" class=\"r r-lang-en r-paragraph\">\n<p>For the present edition, the editors compared the two previous editions (the original manuscript is lost) and restored some of the flavor of the original. In addition, they found that, perhaps owing to \u015ar\u012bla Prabhup\u0101da\u2019s heavily accented English, the uneven quality of his dictated tapes, or the difficult philosophical concepts in some passages of <i>Teachings of Lord Caitanya,<\/i> the original transcribers and editors had occasionally erred.
