Lord \u015ar\u012b K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, the Personality of Godhead, being invited to the sacrifices by Mah\u0101r\u0101ja Yudhi\u1e63\u1e6dhira, saw to it that they were performed by qualified [twice-born] br\u0101hma\u1e47as. After that, for the pleasure of the relatives, the Lord remained a few months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Lord \u015ar\u012b K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a was invited by Mah\u0101r\u0101ja Yudhi\u1e63\u1e6dhira to look into the supervision of the performances of yaj\u00f1a,<\/i> and the Lord, to abide by the orders of His elderly cousin, caused the performance of yaj\u00f1as<\/i> by learned twice-born br\u0101hma\u1e47as.<\/i>Simply taking birth in the family of a br\u0101hma\u1e47a<\/i> does not make one qualified to perform yaj\u00f1as.<\/i> One must be twice-born by proper training and initiation from the bona fide \u0101c\u0101rya.<\/i> The once-born scions of br\u0101hma\u1e47a<\/i> families are equal with the once-born \u015b\u016bdras,<\/i> and such brahma-bandhus,<\/i> or unqualified once-born scions, must be rejected for any purpose of religious or Vedic function.
