<a href=\"https:\/\/vedabase.io\/en\/search\/synonyms\/?original=bhaj%C4%81mi\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><em>bhaj\u0101mi<\/em><\/a> \u2014 worship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wrapper-translation\">\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">Translation<\/h2>\n<div id=\"bb1582857\" class=\"r r-lang-en r-translation\">\n<p><strong>I adore the primeval Lord Govinda, who burns up to their roots all fruitive activities of those who are imbued with devotion and impartially ordains for each the due enjoyment of the fruits of one&#8217;s activities, of all those who walk in the path of work, in accordance with the chain of their previously performed works, no less in the case of the tiny insect that bears the name of indragopa than in that of Indra, king of the devas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wrapper-puport\">\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">Purport<\/h2>\n<div class=\"rich-text\">\n<div id=\"bb1582858\" class=\"r r-lang-en r-paragraph\">\n<p>God impartially induces the fallen souls to act in the way that is consequent on the deeds of their previous births and to enjoy the fruition of their labors but, out of His great mercy to His devotees, He purges out, by the fire of ordeal, the root of all <em>karma,<\/em> viz., nescience and evil desires. <em>Karma,<\/em> though without beginning, is still perishable. The <em>karma<\/em> of those, who work with the hope of enjoying the fruits of their labors, becomes everlasting and endless and is never destroyed. The function of <em>sanny\u0101sa<\/em> is also a sort of <em>karma<\/em> befitting an <em>\u0101\u015brama<\/em> and is not pleasant to K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a when it aims at liberation, i.e., desire for emancipation. They also receive fruition of their <em>karma<\/em> and, even if it be disinterested, their <em>karma<\/em> ends in <em>\u0101tma-mamat\u0101,<\/em> i.e., self-pleasure; but those who are pure devotees always serve K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a by gratifying His senses forsaking all attempts of <em>karma<\/em> and <em>j\u00f1\u0101na,<\/em> and being free from all desires save that of serving K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a has fully destroyed the <em>karma,<\/em> its desires and nescience of those devotees.
