\n\u201cWhen I am eager to understand the literature given by the Gosv\u0101m\u012bs, then I shall be able to understand the transcendental loving affairs of R\u0101dh\u0101 and K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a.\u201d \u015ar\u012b Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu appeared in order to bestow upon human society the benediction of the science of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. The most exalted of all the activities of Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a are His pastimes of conjugal love with the gop\u012bs. \u015ar\u012b Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu appeared in the mood of \u015ar\u012bmat\u012b R\u0101dh\u0101r\u0101\u1e47\u012b, the best of the gop\u012bs. Therefore, to understand the mission of Lord \u015ar\u012b Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu and follow in His footsteps, one must very seriously follow in the footsteps of the Six Gosv\u0101m\u012bs \u2013 \u015ar\u012b R\u016bpa, San\u0101tana, Bha\u1e6d\u1e6da Raghun\u0101tha, \u015ar\u012b J\u012bva, Gop\u0101la Bha\u1e6d\u1e6da and D\u0101sa Raghun\u0101tha.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nAdvancement in K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness depends on the attitude of the follower. A follower of the K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness movement should become a perfect gosv\u0101m\u012b. Vai\u1e63\u1e47avas are generally known as gosv\u0101m\u012bs. In V\u1e5bnd\u0101vana, this is the title by which the director of each temple is known. One who wants to become a perfect devotee of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a must become a gosv\u0101m\u012b. Go means \u201cthe senses,\u201d and sv\u0101m\u012b means \u201cthe master.\u201d Unless one controls his senses and mind, one cannot become a gosv\u0101m\u012b. To achieve the highest success in life by becoming a gosv\u0101m\u012b and then a pure devotee of the Lord, one must follow the instructions known as Upade\u015b\u0101m\u1e5bta, which have been given by \u015ar\u012bla R\u016bpa Gosv\u0101m\u012b. \u015ar\u012bla R\u016bpa Gosv\u0101m\u012b has given many other books, such as Bhakti-ras\u0101m\u1e5bta-sindhu, Vidagdha-m\u0101dhava and Lalita-m\u0101dhava, but Upade\u015b\u0101m\u1e5bta constitutes the first instructions for neophyte devotees. One should follow these instructions very strictly. Then it will be easier to make one\u2019s life successful. <\/span><\/p>\n
