Shukracharya was the son of sage Bhrigu and Divya, the daughter of Hiranyakashyapu. Through stories, we know that sukracharya was the guru of Asuras but few people know that why was he became the guru of Asuras.
When sukracharya became capable to learning then his Father Bhrigu sent him to Brahmarishi Anga for education. Angarishi was one of best Rishi . He had a son named Brihaspati. Both Sukracharya and Brihaspati were learning together from Angarishi.
It is believed that sukracharya was more talented than Brihaspati but Brihaspati being a son was getting better education .
Seeing discrimination with himself, Shukracharya jealously left that ashram and started learning from Sanak Rishis and Gautam Rishi.
After getting education, sukracharya came to know that Brihaspati became the guru of deities then he decided to become the guru of Asuras because Asura and deities were enemy of each other. Sukracharya wanted to compete with Brihaspati.
