There are two gopis who are Krishna’s dearmost: Radharani and Candravali. Amongst the two, Srimati Radharani stands supreme.
In the past we have spoken about some differences between the two. Today we’ll say something more.
Radharani thinks, “Krishna is mine”. This transcendental mood is called madiya-mayi-bhava.
Candravali thinks, “ I am Krishna’s”. This mood is called tadiya-bhava.
Srimati Radharani controls Krishna. For this She is known svadina-bhartrika.
This mood can be divided into two types:
When, out of love, one humbly asks Krishna for something it is called maitri.
When asking Krishna for something becomes secondary it is called sakhya.
Candravali has maitri as the prominent mood, while Radharani has the mood of sakhya.
Radharani can order anything from Krishna and He will carry out, even if She doesn’t finish asking or even if She doesn’t ask.
Candravali can order but She has to tell Him what she wants.
Therefore Gaudiya Vaisnava are Srimati Radharani’s devotees under the guidance of Rupa Manjari (Srila Rupa Gosvami). If one does not submit at the lotus feet of Rupa Manjari he will not be able to serve Srimati Radharani.
The life mission of a Gaudiya Vaisnava is to inspire the fallen souls to serve Srimati Radharani.
If one reads attentively Srila Prabhupada’s books he will find such a mood.
