If Brahma's son was Irreligion or if he was a demon, why was he born like this?

Question

Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.  All glories to You and Srila Prabhupada.

I have a question about the following verse from the Srimad Bhagavatam...

SB 4.8.2
"Another son of Lord Brahmā was Irreligion, whose wife’s name was Falsity. From their combination were born two demons named Dambha, or Bluffing, and Māyā, or Cheating. These two demons were taken by a demon named Nirṛti, who had no children."

So if Brahma's son was Irreligion or if he was a demon, why was he born like this?  I thought that the purport to this verse said something about getting a birth like this because of karma.  Was Irreligion born from Lord Brahma due to his past karma?  Thank you.

Answer

Dear Bhakta Richard,
Receive my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

In his explanation to the verse, Srila Prabhupada says:
“Everything was created by Brahmā in the beginning.”
Brahma created the good (like Narada) and the bad (like Adharma).
Brahma had to create all this because it’s his service. There are people who want to be in this material world and therefore somebody has to create it as they want it.
Somebody will follow Narada and others Adharma. It’s their choise.

About the karma, it’s not Brahma’s karma but the personalities of evil’s karma to be born in that capacity.
