  1. General Rules

    1. This Forum is dedicated to discussions and debates on topics relating to Vedic and Vaishnava culture.
It is created and maintained by a group of Iskcon devotees. The director is who is writing to you right now. For those who do not know me, my name is Manonatha Dasa and I am a disciple of Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
We are determined to maintain a serene and pleasant atmosphere on this Forum. We had bad experiences in the past and we don’t want to repeat them.
We call on all, without exception, to observe a few simple rules. #
    2. If these simple rules are not respected, the document will not be published or if it was already online will be erased.
Those who will constitute a disturbance will be placed in read-only mode. #
  2. Specific Rules

    1. Respect the theme of the Forum.
We treat topics relevant to the culture of the Vedas and of the Vaishnava tradition. It’s a very wide field and also has numerous collateral subjects.
If you have doubts whether an article is fit to be on Isvara Forum, just ask us. #
    2. Be always courteous.
Be kind. If you do not agree on something, just tell your point of view. There is no use in attacking personally those who have different opinions. Not only it's a waste of time but it ruins the peaceful atmosphere.
      Avoid criticizing people. #
    3. No gossip.
If a devotee, whoever he is, has personal problems (alleged or real) don’t come here to say it. #
    4. Don’t inhibited people.
If you are a senior and expert devotee, you are expected to correct younger and less knowledgeble devotee or guest. But do it with the right balance.
If every time someone says something there's always someone jumping on everybody demolishing point by point, you inhibit him and also you may upset him. So, please, balance. #
    5. Don’t make proselytism.
This is a Forum by ISKCON’s and Srila Prabhupada’s devotees.
We are not against you publishing documents in written form, or audio, or video, authored by not Iskcon devotees, but if it’s done with the idea of proselytizing, or if this will eventually be the result, it will not be allowed. #
